How to Transcribe Many TikTok Videos at Once

To transcribe many TikToks at once, paste up to 50 public links, one per line, into the bulk TikTok tool and export the finished batch as a single ZIP in TXT, PDF, DOCX, SRT or VTT. Batches earn their keep when you have a list that already exists:

• Your own back catalogue, for repurposing or for a searchable archive.
• A hashtag or sound you are researching, where you need the wording across many clips.
• A competitor or campaign sweep, where you want to see how a claim is phrased.
• A creator's series that you are studying or citing.

The other reason is the daily limit. Guests and free accounts get one TikTok transcript per 24 hours, so 40 videos one at a time is not a plan. Bulk runs on paid plans, which are unlimited and get priority. A free account can queue a batch and it will start once the account is upgraded.

Step 1: Collect the links

Every link must be a public TikTok URL. Both forms work:

On a phone, open the video, tap Share, then Copy link, and paste it somewhere you can collect them, such as a note or a spreadsheet. On desktop, open the creator's profile, open each video, and copy the URL from the address bar. The desktop route is much faster for more than a few, because you can open videos in new tabs and copy the addresses in one pass.

Do not paste profile URLs, hashtag pages, sound pages or search results. The tool transcribes individual videos, so tiktok.com/@username on its own will fail. There is no feature that expands a profile into its videos for you; the list is something you assemble.

Step 2: Clean the list before you paste it

Five minutes here saves a batch full of errors.

• Deduplicate. Short vm.tiktok.com links and full links to the same video look different but are the same clip, and you will be charged the work twice. If you collected from several sources, sort the list and scan it.
• Drop anything private, deleted or region-blocked. These cannot be fetched, and the page will show an error for that row.
• Check for audible speech. The tool transcribes audio with AI (Whisper). It does not read on-screen text, and it does not pull TikTok's in-app auto-captions. Dance clips, music-only edits and videos that communicate entirely through typed overlays come back empty. Including them just adds blank files.
• Split lists over 50. The limit is 50 links per batch. A list of 120 is three runs; keep them as three separate saved lists so you know what has been done.
• Strip tracking parameters if you copied from a share sheet that added them. The bare video URL is safest.

Step 3: Run the batch

Paste the list into transcript.you/bulk-tiktok and start it. Links are processed one at a time with a pause between them, which is deliberate: it is gentler on the source and keeps failures isolated to a single row rather than killing the run.

Plan for a few minutes on a batch of 30, longer on 50 or on videos that are several minutes each. Failures happen and the page shows an error for the rows that did not work. A failed row does not invalidate the rest of the batch, so the usual pattern is: run the list, note the errors, check whether those videos are private or deleted, and re-run only the handful worth retrying.

Step 4: Pick the export format

The whole batch comes back as one ZIP in the format you choose.

Because the transcript is timed, each line carries a start time, so SRT and VTT exports are real subtitles rather than one giant caption. An SRT entry looks like this:

Step 5: Organize the output immediately

A ZIP of 50 transcripts is only useful if you can tell which file is which video. Before you unzip into a working folder, set up a tracking sheet with one row per link:

The retrieved date matters more than people expect. TikToks get deleted and accounts go private, so a transcript with no record of where and when it came from is hard to defend later. Keep one folder per batch rather than merging everything into a single directory. When a run has errors and you re-run the failures, a separate folder tells you which pass a file came from.

Common mistakes

• Duplicate links in different formats. The most common cause of a wasted batch slot.
• Expecting on-screen text. If the words you want were typed in the TikTok editor, no audio transcription will find them. That distinction is worth understanding before you run 50 links.
• Pasting more than 50 links and assuming the rest are queued. They are not; split the list.
• Assuming every failure is a bug. Private, deleted and region-blocked videos genuinely cannot be fetched, and there is no setting that changes that.
• Not spot-checking accuracy. Accuracy follows the audio. Clear speech is near-perfect; loud music, crosstalk, heavy accents and background noise produce errors. Check anything you intend to quote.
• Skipping the tracking sheet and then trying to reconstruct which file belongs to which creator three weeks later.

What comes after the batch

Once the text exists, the work is usually search and synthesis: grep the TXT files for a phrase, count how often a claim appears, or pull the strongest lines into a draft.
